LUNCH & LEARN

Brian LeRoux from Nitobi, will be visiting Bootup to speak about PhoneGap - an open source solution designed to give web developers JavaScript access to popular mobile device features, like the camera, GPS, the accelerometer, local SQLite databases and more, without having to write full applications.

He'll discuss some of the strengths and weaknesses of both web and native apps, with special attention to areas where the gap is closing between Web technologies and their native counterparts, as well as looking at the future of mobile app development.

Ticket includes a pizza lunch!
